Going to school is the key to success!

We all know that going to school is the key to success! But, sadly, many people still choose not to go. Whether you bunk classes from time to time, going to class and not completing any of your school work or if you stop going to school altogether - you're setting yourself up for failure and hard times! Giving school a miss means that you are missing out on an important opportunity to live a good life.

Here are a few reasons why school is so incredibly important to your future success:

Gaining knowledge gives a person more power to make informed choices in one's life. School is one of the best places a young person can gain knowledge. It gives you the chance to learn about various topics, such as people, languages, history, mathematics, science, health, politics, the world, and many other things.

Going to school regularly and completing your work increases your chances of finishing high school and the opportunity to study further at college or university.

A higher (post-high school) qualification can give you more job options and higher wages.

School doesn't only provide you with academic knowledge, it also builds your confidence and social skills. School is a place where you can meet other young people and make good friends. Interacting with others also increases your knowledge of the world and the people in it.

School helps young people get into a daily routine, which gives them stability and prepares them for work life.

School gives young people a purpose. Instead of sitting at home doing nothing, they are keeping their brain active by gaining new knowledge and learning useful skills.

If you are a girl being in school until matric means that you will be less likely to get pregnant and less likely to get HIV.

School is an important first stepping stone in your life. It prepares us for life and it gives us the knowledge to pass on to our children and future generations. Let’s appreciate the great gift we have when we're able to attend school.

Hi What can I do to save more money for my future.

B-Wise Expert Expert 18 May 2020 11:02

Hi there,

Make sure that a part of all the money you get is saved. Ask you parents to open a bank account for you if you are young and save it there.

Why other people like to judge others

B-Wise Expert Expert 5 March 2019 11:27

Expressing your views can be tricky, especially if it’s about a sensitive issue like politics, religion or sexuality. There’s always a risk that someone else may not agree with you – or they may be offended by your opinion, and this can cause conflict or may lead to people judging you. This is how you can express your views freely https://bwisehealth.com/article/how-do-i-express-my-views

Hi , thank you for your feedback, we are sorry that you have to experience that.

B-Wise User Mpumie4 18 March 2016 14:37

Going to school also helps u to be able to socialise with others, get connected,u also learn how you should behave when you are around other people and it also boost your strength and your self esteem in a particular way.
