Help, guidance, and contact options

Support options are provided for using the bWise Health platform, accessing youth-friendly information, and reaching the right services. Where immediate help is required, escalation to appropriate emergency services should be prioritised.

1. Frequently requested help

  • Finding a topic: Use the search and topic categories to locate guidance on HIV, STIs, contraception, puberty, mental health, and substance use.
  • Finding services: Use the clinic/service finder to locate youth-friendly services near you (where available on the platform).
  • Using WhatsApp support: Use the WhatsApp links on the site to ask questions and get referrals (normal data costs may apply).
  • Updating your profile: Use My Profile to update any optional information that you choose to provide.

2. Contact bWise Health

General enquiries and technical support requests may be sent to hello@bewisehealth.com.

3. WhatsApp and digital support

WhatsApp support is available through the WhatsApp links provided on the website. A third-party platform (WhatsApp) is used for messaging, and message delivery and metadata are processed by that platform.

  • Privacy tip: Only information necessary for help should be shared.
  • Response times: Response times may vary depending on volumes and service hours.

4. Reporting a problem

Problems such as broken links, incorrect content, or technical issues may be reported by email. The following details improve resolution speed:

  • Page link (URL) where the issue occurred.
  • Short description of what happened and what was expected.
  • Device type and browser (e.g., Android Chrome, iPhone Safari, Windows Chrome).
  • Screenshot (optional).

5. Safety and urgent help

bWise Health provides information and signposting and does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Where a medical emergency or immediate danger is suspected, emergency services should be contacted without delay.

  • Emergency: Local emergency services should be contacted immediately.
  • Immediate risk of harm: A trusted adult, local clinic, or emergency support should be contacted.

6. Accessibility support

Feedback on accessibility barriers (reading difficulty, contrast issues, navigation problems, or assistive technology challenges) may be submitted to hello@bewisehealth.com.

7. Privacy and data questions

Privacy-related questions should be directed to hello@bewisehealth.com. Reference to the Privacy Notice is recommended for an overview of personal information processing.
